Information Animals: Great Metaphor for Knowledge Workers

Janine has a blog called Knowledge Animal and while it only has the one post it is a pretty cool one.

This article compares knowledge workers with animals and it is a comparison that works pretty well. We have territories that we guard and protect to different extents. Sometimes we share our territory and some knowlege workers chase rival workers out of that territory.

I read it and now think a little differently about my 'territory' and how I work within it in ways that are not quite as human as I might have thought yesterday. :-) Check it out.
